Our Maine Wood + Sustainability Tour is back for the third year!

Architects, engineers and designers: Have you wondered about the forestry behind Maine wood, how wood gets to market, and who brings wood to the mill and the lumberyard? Local Wood WORKS invites you to participate in a professional workshop for design and engineering professionals focused on: growing Maine’s local wood economy; sustainable forestry practices; and forestland conservation. Seven professional credits available through AIA.

Cost per participant includes transportation and lunch. $100, Registration limited to 20 participants. Bus departs from Portland at 7:30 a.m Thursday, November 7, and returns at 5:00 p.m.
